The board approved audited standalone financial results for Q4 and FY25. Revenue from operations jumped to ₹66,858 lakhs from ₹2,576 lakhs in FY24, a roughly 25x increase driven by new contributions from gold (₹25,305 lakhs), textile (₹14,956 lakhs) and construction material (₹12,060 lakhs) segments. Profit after tax rose to ₹1,603 lakhs from ₹333 lakhs, about 4.8x growth. However, PAT margin compressed sharply to about 2.4% from 12.9%, and operating cash flow was deeply negative at minus ₹15,642 lakhs, funded largely by ₹15,736 lakhs from financing activities. Short-term borrowings surged from ₹371 lakhs to ₹8,757 lakhs, and trade payables nearly tripled. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion but flagged GST return filing delays, non-deduction of TDS under sections 194Q and 206CQ, and a ₹2.38 crore write-off of trade payables and unsecured loans.
Headline growth looks strong but the sharp margin compression and large negative operating cash flow suggest earnings quality is weak and the business is being propped up by borrowings and trade credit. Investors should track working capital, debt levels, and resolution of GST/TDS compliance issues flagged by the auditor.
