Bharat Wire Ropes released its Q4 and full-year FY26 earnings presentation. The company reported FY26 revenue of INR 5,905 Mn (down 4.7% YoY) and EBITDA of INR 1,308 Mn with margins improving to 22.15% from 21.36% in FY25. PAT stood at INR 725 Mn with margins expanding to 12.28%. The company achieved 5-year revenue CAGR of 19% and EBITDA CAGR of 32%. Q4-FY26 performance was weaker with revenue down 17.6% YoY due to Middle East war escalation disrupting supply chains and lower sales volumes. The company has reduced total debt significantly from INR 1,817 Mn in FY23 to INR 743 Mn in FY26. Management highlighted focus on value-added products, domestic market penetration, and cost optimization as key drivers for maintaining profitability despite volume decline.
The stock underperformed the SENSEX over the past year (April 2025 to March 2026). While revenue and volumes declined due to geopolitical disruptions, margin expansion and debt reduction show operational efficiency. The focus on value-added products and domestic market helped offset export headwinds.
