Bharat Wire Ropes has submitted to the exchanges copies of newspaper advertisements containing the extract of its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025, published in Business Standard (English, all editions) and Tarun Bharat (Marathi, Jalgaon) on May 21, 2025, as required under SEBI Regulation 47. For Q4 FY25, total income from operations rose to Rs 17,183.47 lakhs from Rs 14,715.60 lakhs a year ago, but net profit after tax slipped to Rs 2,064.94 lakhs from Rs 2,180.32 lakhs. For the full year FY25, revenue was nearly flat at Rs 61,931.62 lakhs versus Rs 62,183.53 lakhs in FY24, while net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 7,244.01 lakhs from Rs 9,634.22 lakhs. Basic EPS for FY25 came in at Rs 10.6 compared to Rs 14.17 in the previous year, and reserves rose to Rs 66,812.81 lakhs.
For shareholders, the headline is a clear year-on-year decline in full-year profits (about 25% drop in PAT and EPS) on largely unchanged revenue, which signals margin compression despite steady topline. The Q4 print shows revenue growth but continued profit weakness, so near-term sentiment on the stock is likely to be cautious until margin recovery is visible.
