Bharat Wire Ropes shared its Q4 FY25 and FY25 investor presentation highlighting a mixed performance. FY25 revenue was largely flat at INR 6,193 Mn (down 0.4% YoY), but EBITDA fell sharply by 19.4% to INR 1,323 Mn with margins contracting 503 bps to 21.36%, dragged by higher expenses (up 6.4%) and Red Sea geopolitical supply chain disruptions. PAT declined 24.8% YoY to INR 724 Mn, with diluted EPS at INR 10.60. Q4 FY25 showed sequential recovery with revenue up 16.7% YoY to INR 1,718 Mn and EBITDA up 27.6% QoQ, though margins still fell 380 bps YoY. The company emphasized debt reduction (total debt down to INR 1,311 Mn from INR 2,688 Mn in FY22), completed debt restructuring, focus on value-added products, and an upcoming industrial promotion subsidy of up to INR 4,350 Mn.
Negative near-term on profitability with steep margin and earnings contraction despite stable revenue, but positives include meaningful debt reduction, highest-ever annual sales volume, and improving sequential Q4 trends that could support recovery if cost pressures ease.
