Bharti Airtel has completed the conversion of 390,998,501 partly paid-up equity shares (face value INR 5, previously paid up at INR 1.25) into fully paid-up equity shares following the receipt of the First and Final Call money. These shares will be available for trading on NSE and BSE from Monday, March 23, 2026, under ISIN: INE397D01024. A small batch of 178,493 shares could not be converted due to technical errors in the respective shareholders' demat accounts and will be processed later upon request. This is the concluding step of a rights issue where shareholders were required to pay the remaining call amount to make their shares fully paid-up.
Eligible shareholders now hold fully paid-up shares that are freely tradable, increasing the company's fully paid-up share capital. This is a procedural corporate action and not expected to have a material impact on stock price, though it improves share liquidity for converted shareholders.
