Indian Continent Investment Ltd, acting in concert with promoter Bharti Telecom Ltd, received 14.68 crore equity shares (2.35%) of Bharti Airtel through a preferential allotment on June 23, 2026. The shares were issued against swap of ICIL's around 16.3% shareholding in UK-listed Airtel Africa plc. ICIL's stake in Bharti Airtel rose from 0.92% to 3.25%. Bharti Telecom's direct holding in Bharti Airtel remains unchanged. Equity share capital increased to Rs 31,201,606,575.
