Bharti Hexacom, along with parent Bharti Airtel, filed the transcript of its Q1 FY26 earnings call held on August 6, 2025. Consolidated revenue came in at Rs 49,463 Cr, while India business (excluding Indus) revenue stood at Rs 33,820 Cr with EBITDAaL margins improving 65 basis points sequentially to 51.4%. The company redeemed $1 billion in senior notes during the quarter, bringing India net debt to EBITDAaL to 1.3x and earning a Crisil credit rating upgrade. Management highlighted the launch of Airtel Cloud, new software deals with Singtel and Globe Telecom, broadband net adds of a record 939,000, ARPU of Rs 250, and 152 million 5G customers. They also flagged strong visibility on the B2B order book and funnel, continued capex moderation, and step-ups planned in fiber home passes and Cloud capacity.
The combination of margin expansion, balance sheet strengthening (debt cut, Crisil upgrade), and new growth avenues like Airtel Cloud is positive for shareholders, though modest B2B underlying growth (2% QoQ) and pending AGR payment decision remain near-term concerns.
