Bhaskar Agrochemicals Limited reported its Q1 FY26 results on August 14, 2025. Revenue from operations nearly doubled YoY to Rs. 2,320.13 lakhs compared to Rs. 1,165.60 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 99%. However, the company remained in the red with a loss before tax of Rs. 18.58 lakhs and a loss after tax of Rs. 21.26 lakhs, though significantly improved from the Rs. 178.01 lakh loss in the same quarter last year. Total expenses rose sharply to Rs. 2,338.79 lakhs, mainly driven by higher raw material costs (Rs. 1,791.03 lakhs vs Rs. 864.34 lakhs). EPS stood at negative Rs. 0.41 versus negative Rs. 3.42 a year ago. The auditor issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong top-line momentum is encouraging and shows demand recovery, but the company is still loss-making at the bottom line, which may keep the stock under pressure. Investors should watch whether the improving revenue trajectory translates into sustained profitability in coming quarters, given that full-year FY25 was profitable.
