BHEL has published its audited financial results for Q4 and full year FY26 in newspapers on 5 May 2026. For the full year ended 31 March 2026, net sales/revenue stood at ₹33,782 crore compared to ₹28,339 crore in FY25, representing approximately 19% year-on-year growth. Profit Before Tax more than doubled to ₹2,116 crore from ₹725 crore in the prior year. Profit After Tax grew to ₹2,078 crore from ₹687 crore. Q4 FY26 alone saw revenue of ₹12,310 crore and PBT of ₹1,720 crore, both significantly higher than Q4 FY25 levels. EPS for FY26 improved to ₹4.53 per share from ₹1.47 per share in FY25.
Strong improvement in both revenue and profitability signals operational recovery. More than doubling of net profit and near-tripling of EPS are positive signs for shareholders, though BHEL is a government-owned engineering firm whose performance is closely tied to public capex cycles.
