Bhilwara Spinners Ltd reported a turnover of Rs. 2,496.82 lakhs in FY25, a sharp jump of about 165% from Rs. 940.24 lakhs in FY24, mainly because commercial production at its manufacturing unit started from December 27, 2024. Profit after tax was almost flat at Rs. 173.06 lakhs versus Rs. 173.39 lakhs last year, as depreciation expenses jumped sharply from Rs. 2.05 lakhs to Rs. 71.9 lakhs due to the new plant. The company did not declare any dividend, citing its financial position. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, and accounts were prepared on a going concern basis. Statutory auditor M/s ABN & Co. is being replaced by M/s CLB & Associates for a 5-year term from FY26.
Strong top-line growth from the new manufacturing operations is a positive, but flat profit margins and heavy depreciation from the new plant show costs are still weighing on earnings. No dividend means shareholders won't get returns this year, though the stock could benefit from revenue scale-up if margin pressure eases.
