Bikaji Foods' board approved its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY25 (ended March 31, 2025), which carried an unmodified opinion from joint statutory auditors. On a standalone basis, FY25 revenue rose about 10.6% to ₹2,566.57 crore, but profit after tax fell roughly 21% to ₹212.42 crore from ₹269.73 crore a year earlier, with EPS at ₹8.48 versus ₹10.77. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹1.00 per share (100% of face value), subject to shareholder approval, with the record date set for August 29, 2025, and the 30th AGM scheduled for September 16, 2025. Additionally, the company approved a ₹15 crore further investment in its wholly owned subsidiary Bikaji Foods Retail, a ₹20 crore investment in Jai Barbareek Dev Snacks via optionally convertible debentures, and the divestment of its 51% stake in Bikaji Mega Food Park (which will cease to be a subsidiary). The registrar and share transfer agent is being changed from MUFG Intime to Beetal Financial and Computer Services.
Mixed signals for shareholders: revenue growth was healthy, but the sharp drop in profits and EPS suggests margin pressure, which may dampen near-term sentiment. The 100% dividend is a positive for income-seeking investors, while the fresh investments point to growth ambitions and the Mega Food Park divestment signals a refocusing of the subsidiary portfolio.
