Bilcare Limited reported standalone revenue of Rs 6.85 crore for FY26, down sharply from Rs 15.12 crore in FY25, a decline of about 55%. Net profit fell to Rs 0.99 crore from Rs 3.99 crore. Consolidated revenue declined 7% to Rs 733.54 crore, though the group turned profitable at Rs 1.72 crore net profit to owners (vs loss of Rs 0.75 crore last year) due to PPE revaluation reserve reversal adding Rs 27.67 crore. The company redeemed Rs 15.60 crore of preference shares in Caprihans India and increased its stake from 59.56% to 62.04% through warrant conversions. No dividend was declared. The auditor flagged material uncertainty about going concern due to past operating losses and raised multiple emphasis of matter items including a Rs 17.72 crore contingent liability on a CSIR loan and ongoing SFIO investigation.
The standalone numbers are weak with steep revenue decline and reduced profitability, raising concerns about the holding company's standalone operations. The going concern flag from auditors is a serious warning sign for investors. However, the consolidated view shows improvement and the increased stake in Caprihans may offer upside.
