Bilcare Limited has published its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). On a consolidated basis, total income from operations stood at ₹192.44 Cr, slightly down from ₹197.88 Cr in Q1 FY25. The company reported a net loss after tax of ₹9.76 Cr, an improvement from a loss of ₹15.02 Cr in the same quarter last year. Loss per share narrowed to ₹1.59 from ₹2.71. On a standalone basis, however, the company swung to better performance with profit after tax of ₹3.59 Cr, up sharply from ₹1.40 Cr in Q1 FY25, on total income of ₹8.79 Cr. The gap between standalone profit and consolidated loss suggests subsidiaries are continuing to drag down group-level performance. Full-year FY25 consolidated results showed a total income of ₹806.50 Cr and a net loss of ₹56.16 Cr with EPS of ₹(12.22).
The narrowing of consolidated losses and strong standalone growth are mildly positive signals, but the consolidated business continues to post quarterly losses, which may keep the stock under pressure. Investors should watch whether the subsidiary turnaround materializes, as it is the main drag on group profitability.
