Biocon reported Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹4,517 Cr (up 10% YoY) and full-year revenue of ₹16,927 Cr (up 13% YoY). EBITDA for Q4 came in at ₹1,073 Cr with a 23% margin, while full-year EBITDA stood at ₹3,798 Cr at 22% margin. Net profit before exceptional items grew 64% YoY in Q4 to ₹179 Cr and 323% YoY for FY26 to ₹436 Cr. Biosimilars led growth with FY26 revenue of ₹10,431 Cr (up 16% YoY), supported by North America market share gains and the Yesintek franchise. The integration of Biocon Biologics into the parent company has been completed, the major capacity build-out is largely done, and the company is shifting focus to improving asset utilization and operating leverage across all three segments — biosimilars, generics, and CRDMO.
With the investment phase behind them and a stronger balance sheet, Biocon is positioned for progressive margin improvement in FY27 as recent biosimilar launches scale up and generics utilization recovers. However, the current 22% EBITDA margin is still below prior-year levels due to facility commissioning costs, tempering near-term enthusiasm.
