Birla Corporation reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹9,655.61 Crores for FY26, up 4.8% from ₹9,214.49 Crores in FY25. Profit after tax surged 88.9% to ₹557.58 Crores from ₹295.22 Crores, driven by improved operating margins (15.28% vs 13.40%) and lower finance costs (₹264.49 Cr vs ₹327.06 Cr). The company recognised exceptional items including ₹35.68 Cr additional ECL provision on West Bengal incentive receivables, ₹28.05 Cr impairment of mining rights, and ₹91.32 Cr incentive income from Maharashtra plant. RCCPL commissioned its third production line at Kundanganj, adding 1.4 million tonnes cement capacity. Board recommended dividend of ₹12.50 per share (125%). Auditors expressed unmodified opinion.
Strong recovery in profitability with PAT nearly doubling YoY; debt metrics improved with debt-equity ratio at 0.51x and interest service coverage at 5.92x. However, operating cash flow turned negative at ₹-469 Crores which raises some concern.
