Birla Precision Technologies reported strong FY2026 results with standalone revenue growing 15% to Rs 238.4 crore from Rs 207.2 crore in FY2025. Net profit surged 114% to Rs 116.2 crore versus Rs 54.3 crore last year, driven by higher income and lower finance costs. The company received Rs 18.11 crore as partial payment for a proposed land sale (total consideration Rs 27.31 crore) with income of Rs 2.57 crore recognized. Segmentally, the Tooling division was highly profitable at Rs 200.5 crore profit before tax, while Automotive Components posted a loss of Rs 37.5 crore. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.05 per share and appointed a new CFO, Mr. Daulat Jain. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financials.
The 114% jump in net profit is a significant positive signal for shareholders, though the growing loss in the Automotive Components segment and rising trade receivables (up Rs 18.7 crore) warrant monitoring. The clean audit opinion and partial land sale proceeds provide additional comfort.
