BirlaNu Limited's Board met on May 17, 2025 and approved audited standalone and consolidated results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025 with an unmodified auditor opinion. Standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs. 2,31,004 lakhs in FY25 from Rs. 2,23,085 lakhs in FY24, but profit after tax dipped to Rs. 9,096 lakhs (vs Rs. 10,298 lakhs) and Q4 saw a small standalone loss of Rs. 34 lakhs. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 30 per share (300% on Rs. 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 78th AGM. It also appointed a new CHRO, Chief Business Officer – Walls, and CIO, raised the corporate guarantee limit for its German subsidiary HIL International GmbH from EUR 35M to EUR 45M, and appointed a new Secretarial Auditor for five years. FY25 also includes an exceptional gain of Rs. 8,189 lakhs from the sale of a land parcel.
Shareholders stand to receive a healthy final dividend of Rs. 30 per share, pending AGM approval, though weaker Q4 and a drop in full-year standalone profit and EPS (Rs. 120.61 vs Rs. 136.59) may temper sentiment. The senior management reshuffle and expanded guarantee for the overseas subsidiary signal ongoing strategic realignment.
