Birlasoft reported strong Q4 FY26 consolidated results with revenue of ₹13,486.25 million (up 2.4% YoY) and net profit after tax of ₹1,759.32 million (up 44% YoY). For the full year FY26, consolidated revenue stood at ₹53,099.58 million with net profit after tax of ₹5,183.57 million. Basic EPS improved significantly to ₹18.54 for the year versus ₹4.38 in Q4 FY25. The company recorded an exceptional item of ₹406.88 million due to increased gratuity and leave liabilities from new Indian Labour Codes, classified as non-recurring. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹4 per share (face value ₹2), adding to the ₹2.5 interim dividend already paid, totaling ₹6.5 per share for FY26. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Strong profit growth and margin expansion (net margin up from ~12.6% to ~16.5% in Q4) indicate improved operational efficiency. The dividend increase signals management confidence in sustained earnings. One-time labour code impact should not affect underlying business outlook.
