Bitcoin's dominance rises to 58%; remains the most-held crypto asset across Indian cities: Report

Bitcoin's share of the global crypto market rose to 58.2%, emerging as the most-held digital asset across every major Indian city and demographic cohort on CoinDCX, per the platform's H1 2026 Investor Report. Indian investors continued accumulating digital assets during market weakness, with average investor age at 30 to 31 years and the 30 to 45 age cohort expanding its share from 36% to 38%. CoinDCX now has 2.2 crore registered users, executed a Rs 111 crore ESOP liquidity event for over 500 employees, and committed Rs 100 crore to the Digital Suraksha Network for cyber safety infrastructure.
