Bits Limited submitted newspaper cuttings (Financial Express and Jansatta) of its unaudited Q1 FY26 results to BSE, as required under SEBI LODR Regulation 47. Total income from operations stood at ₹30.9 lakhs, up about 25% year-on-year from ₹24.62 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit after tax was ₹7.39 lakhs, nearly tripling from ₹2.77 lakhs a year earlier, but slightly lower than the ₹8.8 lakhs reported in the preceding Q4 FY25. Consolidated total comprehensive income was ₹8.96 lakhs versus ₹7.39 lakhs on a standalone basis, indicating some contribution from subsidiaries. Earnings per share came in at ₹0.0066 (standalone) and ₹0.008 (consolidated). The Board approved the results on 21st July 2025, and the company operates in only a single segment.
The YoY growth in both revenue (~25%) and profit (~167%) looks impressive in percentage terms, but the absolute revenue base is very small (around ₹31 lakhs), making this a micro-cap stock where results can swing sharply. The QoQ dip in profit and negligible EPS mean this is unlikely to move the share price meaningfully on its own, but it confirms the business remains operational and growing off a low base.
