BlackBuck reported strong Q1 FY26 results with total income of ~INR160 crores, up 62-63% year-on-year, and revenue from operations of INR144 crores (56% YoY growth). Adjusted EBITDA surged nearly 4x to INR47 crores from INR12 crores a year ago, with EBITDA margin expanding from 13% to 36% on net revenue basis. PAT stood at INR34 crores. Operating cash flow was ~INR63 crores. Core businesses (payments + telematics) grew 41% to INR120 crores, while growth businesses (led by SuperLoads) grew 3-4x to ~INR24 crores. Monthly transacting customers rose 14% to 783,000, and payment GTV grew 28% to ~INR6,800 crores. Management delivered 88% operating leverage YoY and guides continued leverage going forward. SuperLoads (transaction marketplace) is in playbook-building phase, with exponential growth expected 4-6 quarters out. Full PPI license approval received in July; insurance license was a renewal.
Strong margin expansion and consistent operating leverage signal improving unit economics, likely positive for stock sentiment. However, management's limited disclosure on growth businesses (SuperLoads) and lack of specific near-term guidance may cap upside expectations. Existing shareholders benefit from continued profitability growth and cash generation.
