Bloom Industries Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs. 857.62 lakhs for Q2 FY26, up about 36% YoY from Rs. 628.73 lakhs in Q2 FY25. Profit after tax for the quarter rose sharply to Rs. 25.29 lakhs (vs Rs. 14.23 lakhs in Q2 FY25), an increase of roughly 78% YoY. For H1 FY26, revenue was almost flat at Rs. 1,412.23 lakhs (vs Rs. 1,384.86 lakhs) while PAT rose modestly to Rs. 38.63 lakhs. EBITDA margins compressed compared to the prior year quarter as finance costs remained elevated. Operating cash flow for H1 FY26 was positive but thin at Rs. 19.67 lakhs. The statutory auditors (Tibrewal Chand & Co) issued an unqualified limited review opinion.
Strong YoY Q2 revenue and PAT growth is positive for shareholders, but the half-year picture is weaker with flat top-line and margin pressure from high finance costs. Short-term borrowings of Rs. 502.57 lakhs against equity of Rs. 1,010.04 lakhs (D/E ~0.51) and very low cash balance of Rs. 0.69 lakhs remain areas to watch.
