Blue Star reported FY25 revenue of ₹11,968 cr, up 24% YoY, with EBITDA up 32% to ₹876 cr and profit before tax up 39% to ₹772 cr. Full-year EBITDA margin improved to 7.3% from 6.9%, driven by margin expansion in the Electro-Mechanical Projects segment (8.2% vs 7.2%) and Unitary Products segment (8.4% vs 7.8%). Q4FY25 revenue rose 21% to ₹4,019 cr, though Q4 EBITDA margin dipped slightly to 7.0% from 7.3%. The carried-forward order book stood at ₹6,053 cr as of March 31, 2025, an 11% increase. The Professional Electronics segment continued to face headwinds, with revenue declining 7.7% and margins compressing to 8.5% from 13.6%.
Strong FY25 results with broad-based revenue growth and margin improvement in core segments should be viewed positively by shareholders, though the slight Q4 margin softness and weakness in the Professional Electronics segment are minor concerns. A healthy order book of over ₹6,000 cr and a net cash position of ₹640 cr provide good visibility for FY26.
