Blue Star reported Q4 FY26 revenue of Rs.4,072 crore (up 1.3% YoY) with EBITDA margin improving to 8% from 7% a year ago. Full year FY26 revenue grew 3.6% to Rs.12,402 crore, but net profit de-grew 10.8% to Rs.527.3 crore due to multiple headwinds including weak summer, GST changes, energy label transition, and supply chain disruptions from trade wars and geopolitical tensions. Order book grew 10.5% to Rs.6,923 crore. Management requires 13% price increase to cover cost inflation (5% for BEE norm change + 8% for raw material and exchange rate) and has taken 8% so far with the remaining 5% being realized in May-June billings. Summer season finally started on April 13. The company guided 8-8.5% margin for unitary products and 7-7.5% for projects going forward. Data centre MEP opportunity estimated at Rs.3,500 crore market with Blue Star doing Rs.1,000 crore currently, with potential to reach Rs.3,000 crore in 3 years.
Despite strong Q4 recovery with improved margins, FY26 was a challenging year with profit de-growth. Management expects margin pressure to continue through FY27 due to commodity cost increases, but targets 8-8.5% margins if price increases are fully passed on. Strong order book growth and data centre expansion provide growth visibility.
