Blue Star filed its Q4 & FY25 earnings call transcript. FY25 consolidated revenue crossed Rs. 12,000 crore, growing 23.6% YoY to Rs. 11,976.7 cr. Profit before tax (excluding exceptional items) grew 38.6% to Rs. 772.4 cr, and net profit before exceptional items rose 40% to Rs. 581 cr. EBITDA margin expanded 40 basis points to 7.3%. The carried-forward order book hit a record Rs. 6,263 cr, up 9.9% YoY, and the company reported a net cash position of Rs. 640.35 cr. The board recommended a higher dividend of Rs. 9 per share (vs Rs. 7 earlier). Room AC sales volumes crossed 1.53 million units, with market share near 14%. Management flagged that the industry likely de-grew 15-20% in April due to pre-summer inventory buildup and unseasonal rains, while Blue Star itself grew around 5% versus an internal target of 25-30%.
Strong FY25 results and a record order book support the medium-term growth story, but the weak April commentary and cautious near-term margin outlook (FY26 Segment-I 7.5%, Segment-II 8.5%) may cap immediate upside. Investors should watch May-June summer demand and the energy labelling transition in January 2026 as key catalysts.
