Blue Star reported a strong FY25 with consolidated revenue growing 23.6% to Rs 11,976.65 crores and PBT (before exceptional items) rising 38.6% to Rs 772.42 crores. Net profit grew to Rs 591.28 crores (4.9% margin) from Rs 414.31 crores, with EBITDA margin improving 40 bps to 7.3%. Carried forward order book hit a record Rs 6,263 crores (+9.9% YoY), with Electro-Mechanical Projects order book at Rs 4,755 crores. In Q4FY25 alone, revenue grew 20.8% to Rs 4,019 crores, though EBITDA margin dipped slightly to 7.0% from 7.3% YoY. Room AC sales crossed 1.53 million units, with market share near 14%. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 9 per share (up from Rs 7). The company remains net cash positive at Rs 640 crores and is optimistic about FY26, citing a strong summer forecast, healthy order pipeline, and potential India-US trade deal benefits.
Positive for shareholders: record revenue, profit, order book, and a higher dividend signal strong business momentum. The slightly softer Q4 EBITDA margin and below-expectation April'25 AC growth are minor watchpoints, but the diversified order pipeline and net cash position provide comfort for FY26 growth.
