BMW Industries Ltd filed a compliance disclosure with BSE and Calcutta Stock Exchange confirming that its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year FY25 were published in Financial Express (English) and Aajkaal (Bengali) on May 18, 2025, as required under Regulation 47 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations. Standalone total income from operations rose to Rs 11,170.49 lakhs in FY25 from Rs 8,841.13 lakhs in FY24, a growth of roughly 26%. Standalone profit before tax for FY25 stood at Rs 1,244.64 lakhs versus Rs 750.19 lakhs in FY24, and profit after tax nearly doubled to around Rs 941.49 lakhs versus Rs 391.45 lakhs, with basic EPS at Rs 7.52 (vs Rs 3.13). The results were approved by the Board on May 16, 2025. The company also flagged that the amalgamation scheme of two wholly-owned subsidiaries, BMW Iron & Steel Industries and Nippon Cryo Private Limited, is pending NCLT approval, and that income tax appeals relating to demands of Rs 346.24 lakhs are still in progress.
Results show meaningful year-on-year growth in both revenue and profits, which is a positive signal for shareholders. However, the pending NCLT amalgamation of subsidiaries and ongoing income tax disputes remain overhangs that could affect future financials. The filing itself is a routine regulatory disclosure and is unlikely to move the stock on its own.
