BMW Industries Ltd filed the newspaper publication (in Economic Times and Aajkaal dated 31 Jan 2026) of its unaudited Q3 FY26 results, which were reviewed by the Audit Committee on 28 Jan 2026 and approved by the Board on 29 Jan 2026. On a standalone basis, total income from operations rose to Rs 16,348.16 lakh in Q3 FY26 from Rs 14,812.85 lakh in Q3 FY25, while net profit after tax grew to Rs 1,765.71 lakh from Rs 1,728.37 lakh (EPS Rs 0.78 vs Rs 0.77). However, for the nine-month period, income slipped to Rs 46,344.73 lakh from Rs 47,562.18 lakh, and net profit after tax fell to Rs 4,826.03 lakh from Rs 5,780.25 lakh (EPS Rs 2.14 vs Rs 2.57). Consolidated figures track closely with standalone results. The prior period figures were restated to reflect the merger of two wholly-owned subsidiaries (BMW Iron & Steel Industries Ltd and Nippon Cryo Pvt Ltd) into BMWIL with effect from 1 April 2024, as sanctioned by NCLT Kolkata bench on 26 September 2025.
Quarterly performance shows modest YoY growth in both revenue and profit, but the 9-month cumulative numbers are weaker than the restated prior year, partly due to the merger-related restatement. Investors should watch how the consolidated entity performs going forward post the subsidiary merger. The results are unaudited and subject to a limited review by statutory auditors.
