BMW Industries' Board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. On a standalone basis, H1 FY26 revenue from operations fell to Rs 29,304 lakh from Rs 32,302 lakh in H1 FY25, a decline of about 9.3% year-on-year. Profit after tax dropped to Rs 3,060 lakh from Rs 4,052 lakh (-24.5%), with EPS at Rs 1.36 versus Rs 1.80 earlier. Total expenses eased to Rs 25,866 lakh from Rs 27,253 lakh, but finance costs rose to Rs 838 lakh and depreciation climbed to Rs 2,601 lakh from Rs 2,017 lakh. Consolidated results were broadly similar, with H1 revenue at Rs 29,357 lakh and PAT at Rs 3,018 lakh. A positive signal was the sharp improvement in operating cash flow to Rs 3,617 lakh from Rs 1,060 lakh. The prior period balance sheet figures as at March 31, 2025 have been presented as restated.
The double-digit fall in H1 profits and a YoY revenue decline point to weaker top-line momentum, which may weigh on the stock in the short term. However, the marked improvement in operating cash flow and restated prior balances suggest cleaner reported numbers going forward.
