BNP Paribas Cardif to acquire Warburg’s 26% in IndiaFirst Life

BNP Paribas Cardif is set to acquire Warburg Pincus' 25.96% stake in IndiaFirst Life Insurance for around ₹10,000 crore in valuation, subject to regulatory approvals. Post-transaction, Bank of Baroda will hold 65% and retain management control, while Union Bank of India will hold 9%. Bank of Baroda confirmed its shareholding and controlling interest remain unchanged.
