Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation (BBTC) submitted copies of the newspaper publication of its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) to BSE and NSE, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations grew to ₹4,711.91 crore from ₹4,333.43 crore in Q1 FY25, while profit after tax rose to ₹497.66 crore (from ₹471.62 crore), with EPS at ₹34.50 versus ₹31.86. On a standalone basis, revenue rose to ₹71.79 crore (from ₹65.51 crore) and PAT jumped to ₹33.27 crore (from ₹8.43 crore), but this was driven by exceptional items of ₹45.48 crore—excluding them, the standalone business would have posted a pre-tax loss of ₹12.21 crore. The board approved the results on 12 August 2025, with a limited review completed by statutory auditors, and the extracts were published in Business Standard and Pratahkal on 13 August 2025.
The consolidated results show steady operational performance with modest revenue and earnings growth. However, standalone PAT growth appears misleading as it was lifted entirely by exceptional items, so investors should look through the headline number to assess underlying business health.
