Bombay Dyeing reported FY2025-26 standalone net profit of ₹26.66 crore, significantly down from ₹489.83 crore in the previous year (which included ₹552.56 crore in exceptional items). Q4 net profit was ₹20.99 crore versus ₹11.48 crore in Q4 FY25. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.40 per share (20% on face value of ₹2), subject to shareholder approval at the 146th AGM on 7th August 2026. Record date for dividend is 31st July 2026. The Board also decided not to pursue a rights issue that had been under consideration since September 2022, disbanding the Rights Issue Committee with immediate effect. EPS for FY26 stood at ₹1.29.
The steep decline in annual profit from exceptional-item-boosted FY25 levels reflects normalized operations. The modest ₹0.40 dividend maintains shareholder payouts despite lower profitability. Abandonment of the rights issue suggests the company has alternative funding plans or improved financial position.
