Borosil Renewables reported its highest ever standalone revenue of ₹1,535 crore for FY26, up 38% YoY, with EBITDA jumping 172% to ₹492 crore (32% margin). Q4FY26 standalone revenue was ₹438 crore (+34% YoY) with EBITDA of ₹145 crore (33% margin). The company attributed the turnaround to a sharp rise in average selling prices to ₹146.7/mm from ₹113.4/mm last year, enabled by anti-dumping duties on Chinese and Vietnamese solar glass imports imposed in December 2024. Sales volumes also grew 8% YoY. The company is expanding by adding two new 300 TPD furnaces (SG-4 & SG-5) at an estimated cost of ₹950 crore, targeted for commissioning by December 2026. India has 150 GW of installed solar capacity as of March 2026, with the government targeting 500 GW by 2036.
Strong margin expansion driven by pricing power from trade protections signals improving profitability; expansion plans backed by ₹889 crore capital raise position the company for volume-led growth in a fast-growing domestic solar market.
