Borosil Renewables has allotted 1,35,317 equity shares of Re. 1 each to five non-promoter warrant holders who chose to convert their warrants into shares. These warrants were originally issued on February 14, 2025, at Rs. 530 per warrant, with 25% paid upfront at the time of allotment. The warrant holders have now paid the remaining 75% (Rs. 397.50 per warrant) to complete the conversion. Following this allotment, the company's paid-up equity share capital has risen to Rs. 13.32 crore, divided into 13,31,85,970 shares. The newly issued shares will rank equally with the existing shares.
This is a routine warrant-to-equity conversion and a small dilution of about 0.10% (1.35 lakh shares out of over 13.3 crore). The stock price is unlikely to be materially impacted as this was already expected from the earlier preferential allotment. Total capital raised from this conversion is approximately Rs. 7.17 crore.
