Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India (JCHAC) announced audited results for FY25 (year ended 31 March 2025). Revenue from operations jumped to Rs. 2,756.5 crore from Rs. 1,918.7 crore in FY24, a growth of about 43.7%. The company swung from a loss of Rs. 75.7 crore in FY24 to a profit of Rs. 58.8 crore in FY25, with EPS of Rs. 21.6 versus a loss per share of Rs. 27.8. The statutory auditors Price Waterhouse & Co Chartered Accountants LLP issued an Unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 15 per share (150%) for FY25, compared to no dividend in FY24, with 10 June 2025 fixed as the record date. The AGM is scheduled for 25 June 2025. The board also appointed M/s SPANJ & Associates as secretarial auditor for one year from 1 April 2025, subject to shareholder approval.
Strong positive for shareholders: a sharp revenue rebound, a return to profitability, a clean audit opinion, and the resumption of dividend payments signal improved financial health and may support the stock sentiment around the ex-dividend date of 10 June 2025.
