Bosch Limited filed its Q1 FY 2025-26 investor presentation ahead of the August 5, 2025 investor concall. Revenue from operations rose 10.9% year-on-year to ₹47,886 million, though it dipped 2.5% sequentially. EBITDA grew 23% YoY to ₹6,393 million, outpacing revenue growth, while profit after tax surged 139.6% YoY to ₹11,154 million, boosted by the sale of its Video Solutions, Access & Intrusions, and Communication Systems business. The Mobility segment led growth, up 14.3% YoY, driven by a 75.4% jump in 2-Wheeler and 13.7% in Power Solutions, while Energy & Building Technologies slumped 65.3%. The Indian auto industry saw strong YoY growth in tractors, 3-wheelers (EV momentum), and HCVs (pre-buying ahead of AC mandate), with FY2026 industry production projected at 25.77–26.50 million vehicles. Bosch highlighted ongoing OEM collaborations, including Vehicle Control Units and electric coolant pumps for new EV launches.
Strong Q1 performance, especially the sharp PAT jump, should be viewed positively, but a large portion is driven by a one-time divestment gain. Sequential revenue decline and the steep fall in Building Technologies are near-term concerns. Investors should watch the 2-Wheeler and EV technology traction as key growth drivers.
