Brahmaputra Infrastructure reported strong FY25 results with standalone total income from operations rising to Rs. 247.14 Cr from Rs. 221.11 Cr in FY24, an increase of about 12%. Profit after tax jumped to Rs. 29.90 Cr from Rs. 17.18 Cr, a growth of around 74%, pushing EPS to Rs. 10.30 (vs Rs. 5.93). Q4 alone delivered Rs. 103.10 Cr in revenue and Rs. 22.23 Cr in profit, both sharply higher year-on-year. The company cut long-term borrowings from Rs. 104 Cr to Rs. 58.6 Cr and generated positive operating cash flow of Rs. 64.70 Cr, reversing last year's outflow. The order book stands at approximately Rs. 1,150 Cr and the City Centre shopping mall is fully operational with 150+ brands. The auditor (Goyal Nagpal & Co) issued an unmodified opinion but highlighted an emphasis of matter regarding recoverability of Rs. 162.79 Cr in arbitration and claim receivables currently under dispute.
Strong profit growth, debt reduction, and a swing to positive operating cash flow are positive signals for shareholders. However, the large disputed receivables of Rs. 162.79 Cr flagged by the auditor remain a key risk to watch, as their recoverability depends on ongoing arbitration outcomes.
