Bright Brothers Limited reported strong audited results for FY25 on 10 May 2025. Standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs. 32,897.83 lakhs from Rs. 24,460.05 lakhs in FY24, a jump of about 34%. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs. 33,586.27 lakhs from Rs. 24,467.18 lakhs, up about 37%. The company swung from a standalone loss after tax of Rs. 309.66 lakhs in FY24 to a profit of Rs. 863.18 lakhs in FY25, with EPS improving from Rs. (5.45) to Rs. 15.20. On a consolidated basis, profit after tax turned around to Rs. 819.33 lakhs from a loss of Rs. 476.60 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (25%) subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditor GMJ & Co issued an unmodified opinion, with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter issues raised. The board also approved re-appointment of Mr. Anil Kumar Bhandari as Independent Director and appointments of a new Secretarial Auditor and Cost Auditor.
This is a strong turnaround story for shareholders, with revenue growing over 30% and the company returning to profit while also declaring a dividend. The clean auditor report and positive operating cash flow (Rs. 959 lakhs standalone) add confidence, and should be viewed positively by the market.
