BSE Limited filed the transcript of its Q3 FY26 earnings call with analysts and investors. The company reported its 11th consecutive quarter of record revenue, with consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,334 crore, up 62% year-on-year, and net profit more than doubling to Rs. 602 crore (up 176% YoY). Operating EBITDA tripled to Rs. 732 crore, with margins expanding sharply to 59% from 39% a year earlier. Transaction charges rose 86% to Rs. 953 crore, driven by strong growth in index derivatives (Sensex options average daily premium turnover doubled to Rs. 19,459 crore). The SME platform crossed 700 listings, BSE StAR MF posted record revenues of Rs. 72.5 crore, and investor accounts surpassed 24 crore. Management indicated the Core Settlement Guarantee Fund has reached its 150% threshold, which may limit future SGF drag, and discussed future growth areas including commodities and stock options.
Very positive for shareholders — record revenue and profits with expanding margins, strong volume momentum in derivatives, and reduced future SGF contribution headwind. Likely to reinforce bullish sentiment on the stock given the scale of growth and margin expansion.
