Buffett to offload Berkshire stake in 8 years, Gates snubbed

Warren Buffett, 95, plans to donate all his remaining Berkshire Hathaway shares worth around 145 billion dollars across four family-led foundations by December 31, 2034, skipping midyear donations to the Gates Foundation amid scrutiny of Bill Gates ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Buffett holds 188,290 Class A shares and 1,162 Class B shares, with 10 million Class B shares to be distributed this year. Berkshire shares have declined 8 percent since their May 2024 high, underperforming the S&P 500 which gained 32 percent in the same period.
