The bank reported a turnover of Rs. 1,38,070.10 crore and a net worth of Rs. 97,497.99 crore, operating through 10,189 branches, 11,822 ATMs and 1,112 admin offices across 731 districts, serving over 17.68 crore customers. It employs 1,02,746 people (24.86% female), with women making up 10% of the board and 14.29% of key management. The bank identified seven material ESG issues, including climate change risk and data privacy as risks, and sustainable finance, financial inclusion and customer centricity as opportunities, while highlighting its Climate Risk Management Policy, PCAF membership and Renewable Energy as a Champion Sector. Customer complaints rose to 1,13,983 filed during the year with 28,855 pending, while employee-related complaints stood at 3,661.
This is a routine regulatory disclosure and does not directly affect the stock price, but it signals PNB's focus on ESG integration, climate risk management and sustainable financing, which may appeal to ESG-focused investors. The rising customer complaint volumes could be a point of investor attention regarding service quality.
