Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for FY 2024-25

Tata Communications has submitted its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for FY 2024-25 to BSE and NSE, with independent reasonable assurance provided by BSI Group India Private Limited. The company operates a global B2B telecom business serving 190+ countries, with a consolidated revenue base of ₹19,259 crore and standalone turnover of ₹7,277.86 crore, of which telecommunications services contribute 96.5%. It employs 16,973 people globally (23.79% women among permanent staff), holds certifications across ISO 14001, 45001, 27001 and 9001, and has set targets including Net Zero by 2035, Carbon Neutrality by FY2030, Zero Waste to Landfill by FY2027, and 27.5% workforce diversity by FY2026. The report shows no penalties for corruption or bribery, zero customer and shareholder complaints in FY25, and a drop in accounts payable days from 41 to 36. R&D spending on environmental initiatives jumped sharply to ₹3.54 crore from ₹15 lakh, focused on water management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy expansion.
