Camex Ltd reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 3,437.06 lakhs, marginally up from Rs 3,383.58 lakhs in Q1 FY25 but down about 7.6% sequentially from Rs 3,721.10 lakhs in Q4 FY25. The Dyes & Chemicals segment revenue declined ~5% YoY to Rs 2,033.77 lakhs, while the Fiber Glass segment grew ~13% YoY to Rs 1,403.29 lakhs. Profit Before Tax jumped ~44% YoY to Rs 117.55 lakhs (vs Rs 81.50 lakhs), aided by lower input costs (cost of materials consumed nearly doubled YoY, but stock-in-trade purchases fell). Profit After Tax rose ~42.5% YoY to Rs 86.75 lakhs, lifting EPS to Rs 0.85 vs Rs 0.60. Statutory auditors Surana Maloo & Co issued an unqualified limited review report. Separately, the company changed its Internal Auditor: J K Brahmin & Co resigned effective Aug 8, 2025, replaced by A.H. Jain & Co for FY 2025-26.
Marginal topline growth with strong bottom-line expansion signals margin improvement, particularly in the Fiber Glass segment. The internal auditor change mid-year is a governance item worth noting, though the statutory auditor remains unchanged and gave a clean report.
