Camlin Fine Sciences has increased its stake in French ingredient company Vinpai SA to 83.82% from 78.68% after converting 3,300 convertible bonds (worth EUR 3.3 million) into 11,00,000 new ordinary shares at EUR 3 per share. The bonds matured on December 31, 2025, and the new shares were credited to Camlin's demat account in Paris on January 9, 2026. Vinpai is a natural ingredients maker for food, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals industries, listed on Euronext Growth Paris since 2023, with turnover of about EUR 9.2 million in FY24. Total shares held by Camlin in Vinpai now stand at 38,23,316, and the shares will subsequently be listed on Euronext Growth Paris.
Camlin has strengthened its majority control over Vinpai with only a modest EUR 3.3 million additional investment, which is positive for shareholders as it deepens Camlin's presence in the natural ingredients space. Since this is a follow-on stake increase rather than a fresh large deal, the immediate stock impact is likely limited, but it signals continued strategic focus on the European ingredients business.
