Canara Bank's Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4.20 per equity share (210% of face value Rs. 2/-) for FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. The bank reported standalone net profit of Rs. 19,187 crore for FY2026, up 12.7% from Rs. 17,027 crore in the previous year. Total income stood at Rs. 1,53,204 crore. The bank improved its asset quality with Gross NPA reducing to 1.84% from 2.94% YoY, while Net NPA improved to 0.43% from 0.70%. EPS increased to Rs. 21.15 from Rs. 18.77. The bank also completed divestment of two insurance and AMC subsidiaries through IPOs, generating a pre-tax profit of Rs. 1,930 crore.
