Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company shares hit a new high, logging 11% intraday gain; here's why

Canara HSBC Life Insurance shares surged over 11 percent intraday to hit a new high after reporting strong Q1 FY27 earnings. Net profit rose 20 percent year-on-year to about 28 crore rupees, while net premium income grew 24 percent to 2,048 crore rupees and AUM increased 14 percent to 49,683 crore rupees. Value of New Business jumped 29 percent to 124 crore rupees, and the solvency ratio stood comfortably at 198 percent.
