Cantabil Retail India reported Q2 FY26 revenue of ₹176 crore (up 16% YoY) and H1 FY26 revenue of ₹334.7 crore (up 20% YoY), driven by store expansion and volume growth of 10-13%. EBITDA grew 22% YoY in Q2 to ₹42.1 crore and 23% in H1 to ₹91.1 crore, with margins improving to 23.9% in Q2 and 27.2% in H1. PAT grew modestly at 3% in Q2 to ₹6.8 crore and 19% in H1 to ₹21.4 crore, partly weighed by higher depreciation and finance costs. The company added 25 stores in Q2, taking the total to 630 stores across 303 cities with retail area of 8.48 lakh sq ft. Under 'Vision 2027', management targets ₹1,000 crore revenue, 725 stores across 325 cities, and a healthy EBITDA margin of 28-30%.
The results show healthy topline growth and margin expansion, with the multi-year Vision 2027 targets providing visibility on growth ambitions. The slight Q2 PAT miss on weaker same-store sales growth (2.7%) and lower sales per sq ft may temper near-term sentiment, but the broader expansion plan and online channel targets (8-10% in 2 years) remain positive.
