Cantabil Retail India reported FY2026 revenue from operations of Rs 8,525.5 lakh, up 18.3% from Rs 7,210.7 lakh in FY2025, driven by expansion in the retail segment. Net profit after tax grew 27.9% to Rs 957.5 lakh compared to Rs 748.6 lakh in the prior year, while EBITDA stood at Rs 12,616.7 lakh. Finance costs increased significantly to Rs 4,797.2 lakh (vs Rs 3,481.6 lakh), reflecting higher lease liability costs. The company generated positive operating cash flow of Rs 19,933 lakh. Statutory auditor Walker Chandiok & Co. LLP issued an unmodified opinion, and no qualifications or going concern issues were raised.
Strong double-digit topline growth with profit expanding nearly 28% is positive for the stock. However, rising finance costs and increasing lease liabilities warrant monitoring. Unmodified auditor opinion provides clean bill of health.
