Capacit'e Infraprojects Limited has announced the full redemption of its Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The company repaid ₹75 crore (7,500 NCDs at ₹1 lakh face value each) to debenture holders. All encumbrances created against these NCDs will be released in due course. Additionally, 10 lakh equity shares held by the Promoter Group that were pledged as security for these NCDs have been released by the Debenture Trustee.
Positive for shareholders as the company has eliminated ₹75 crore in debt obligations, improving its balance sheet. The release of pledged promoter shares removes a potential overhang on the stock.
