Capital India Finance Limited (CIFL), a non-deposit taking NBFC, has announced its listing on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) effective April 17, 2025, under the symbol CIFL. The company was already listed on BSE and will now be available for trading on both exchanges using the same ticker symbol in the Normal Market segment. CIFL operates in lending, foreign exchange (RemitX), housing finance, and prepaid payments through subsidiaries including Capital India Home Loans and RapiPay Fintech. The promoter group, Capital India Corp Pvt Ltd, holds 72.95% of equity, and the company counts DS Group, RJ Corp, DLF Group, and Sudhir Power as strategic investors. CIFL reported consolidated total income of INR 692.51 Crores in FY 2023-24 and INR 482.26 Crores for the nine months ended December 31, 2024, with 615 employees.
Dual listing on NSE is likely to improve trading liquidity, visibility, and investor access for CIFL shares, which may support better price discovery. Existing shareholders benefit from easier tradeability without any change to their holdings or the underlying business fundamentals.
